Whew (con't)

Just a quick continuation from this morning's post…
I knew I was eligible for a year's leave through EI - I've paid in, have my hours, etc. But I was under the assumption that if I took more than 60 calendar days, that my 2+ years in this position would be wiped out, and the counter to 3 years service would be reset. Which is where the conumdrum laid… I know the time with my (as of now hypothetical) child(ren) is extremely important, but having to recount 2 years of work would suck so hugely. We would've made it work. Now though, we won't have to, as long as I actually get pregnant :P Hopefully that won't be too much of a problem. Here's hoping, anyway...
