Feb 2005 - last BCP
May 2006 - 1st RE appt; started metformin
May 2006 - 2007: various tests (HSG, SA, SFA)
May 2007 - officially given MFI diagnosis & told IVF w/ ICSI is our best (only?) chance to be parents
May 2007 - Mar 2009: trying to get ducks in row (finances, etc)
2009:
Mar - started ball rolling for IVF - blood tests, attended info session
Apr - 2nd SFA (poor motility, still), meet with RE to determine how to start IVF cycle
May - attempted HSG, but could not complete due to complications
Sept - hysteroscopy in place of HSG (tubes clear); diagnosed with lichenoid dermatitis; Rx = 3 mon meds
Dec - hysteroscopy follow-up with RE: clear; given go-ahead for IVF (still on meds though)
2010:
Feb - finish meds & given all clear by OB
Mar - attend IVF info session, pay for IVF cycle
Mar 19 - DGT shows up - cycle '0'
Apr 1 - injectibles training session
Apr 8 - start Suprefact (inhalable suppressant) 5x day
Apr 19 - DGT starts. Our IVF cycle is here!
Apr 21 - downreg u/s & bloodwork to determine if ready for stims: 2cm cyst on right ovary. stims delayed by at least a week
Apr 28 - 2nd downreg u/s. cyst has shrunk!
Apr 29 - Suprefact down to 3x per day, start stims (Bravelle 150IU & Repronex 75IU)
May 3 - first monitoring session - bw & u/s. E2 1100
May 6 - E2 = 4100
May 8 - E2 = 9300
May 9 - Mother's Day! E2 = 12100. Trigger at 9pm (HCG 10000 IU)
May 11 - 9am ER. 8 eggs collected
May 12 - fertilization report: 5 eggs mature & ICSI'd - of these, 2 fertilized. ET sched for May 14
May 14 - ET @ 9:30am. 2 embies transferred
May 25 (11dp3dt) - BFP on HPT
May 27 (13dp3dt) - BFP on digi HPT
May 31 - beta day! Beta = 585! Officially Pg!!
June 22 - first ultrasound (one bean)
July 2 - DH has stroke
July 22 - NT ultrasound (clear.. however showed 2nd sac, empty)
Sept 16 - Anatomy u/s - it's a BOY!
Nov 23 - started sick leave
Dec 30 - admitted to IWK for 'observation' (high BP & protinurea, headaches...)
Dec 31 - started induction process (about 5 pm)
2011:
Jan 4 - Baby Joel born - 8:51 pm, 7lbs, 20.5 in
