Tomorrow's my 33rd birthday.
Growing up, I had always said that I wanted to have "all" my kids by the time I was 30, as I didn't want to be an "old parent". Even as I got closer and closer to 30, and wasn't in a position to be pg or a mommy, that deadline was still there.
We got married 1.5 years before that 'deadline', and as much as I knew I wouldn't be able to keep to that weird schedule I'd set for myself, I was still counting down to it, and getting sadder with each cycle that brought me closer to the dreaded 3-0. And honestly, I still do so with every cycle SINCE 3-0. And now, 3 years later (almost 30 cycles later, bc I'm 'special'), we're no closer to holding baby Chelle or baby J than we were on that day. We're just older.
My RE said we should do IVF before I turn 35 (duh), so gotta get on that wagon soon. T minus 2 years and counting...

Yeah, I had that all planned out too. I was going to have my first at 26--because that was when my mom had me after all. But lo and behold I met a man who didn't want to follow my plan...and I waited. And now that we're ready his sperm still don't want to follow my plan.
